About The Current
The Current debuted in February 2012 as a way to keep local residents updated on topics and trends that are significant and unique to life in the greater Spokane Valley. The free monthly newspaper uses visual storytelling, eye-catching ads and community coverage to connect readers across Valley communities including Spokane Valley, Liberty Lake, Millwood, Otis Orchards, Newman Lake and Rockford. The Current is owned by Peridot Publishing LLC, the legal entity set up in Liberty Lake, Wash., to operate The Splash weekly newspaper and other related publications.
