Oct. 5 | Greasy Pig Food Drive
7 p.m., Central Valley High School, 821 S. Sullivan Road. Watch the annual rivalry game between Central Valley and University high schools and bring a food donation to help Spokane Valley Food Bank. Donations of non-perishable canned foods, peanut butter, pasta, rice, cereal and dried fruits can be deposited in the donation bins by the stadium gates.

Oct. 6 | Spokane Bridge tour 10 a.m. to noon, meeting at Rockin' B Ranch, 3912 N. Idaho Road, Liberty Lake. A tour and presentation of historic and cultural sites around the Spokane Bridge Area hosted by the Spokane Valley Heritage Museum and the Coeur d'Alene Tribe of Indians.
