Liberty Lake resident Jack Ammon received eighth place and the designation of All American at the USATF Junior Olympic Cross Country National Championships in Albuquerque, New Mexico, last weekend. Ammon, 14, ran a personal best time of 13:30.03 in the youth category (4K race). He is an 8th grade student at Northwest Christian School and a member of the Spokane Mercy Track and Cross Country team.
