Students from Mrs. Sine’s kindergarten class question Beverly Burkhalter, head secretary at the Central Valley Kindergarten Center, about the icing on her face during the hunt for their missing gingerbread men. Kids looked for clues to locate the decorated gingerbread men who went missing from their classroom during recess. All CVKC classes decorated—and later enjoyed eating—gingerbread men in conjunction with a unit on the famous story.
