Splash photos by Josh Johnson Big Head Todd and the Monsters play to a big crowd at Pavillion Park Saturday. The Boulder, Colo., band was the headline event of Friends of Pavillion Park's Summer Concert Series, and the crowd started gathering hours before the music began to picnic and reserve a spot near the stage. FOPP representatives said inquiries about the concert came in from as far away as California and Milwaukee. Truth and Salvage Co. opened the show. Big Head Todd was the second of three concerts this summer at the park. The Spokane Symphony will close the series with its annual Lud Kramer Memorial Concert Sept. 4.
