Musselman moving to Liberty Lake

Musselman Rentals & Sales, the largest commercial project of the year in Liberty Lake, is under construction at 24201 E. Knox Lane.
The Lewiston, Idaho-based independent heavy equipment dealer is moving its 15-year-old location on Freya in Spokane to Liberty Lake, which will better "position the company to meet the growing demand," according to a news release.
The 23,000-square-foot complex in Liberty Lake will provide rental, sales and service for Musselman's Caterpillar equipment fleet, according to the release. The 5-acre property is north of Appleway Avenue, south of Interstate 90 and near Mario & Son.
The facility is expected to finish in January 2011. The company will start with eight employees in the Liberty Lake location.
The new Musselman facility in Liberty Lake will serve as the company's primary retail location. Equipment setup and repairs also will continue at Musselman's 7-acre complex and headquarters in Lewiston.
The company chose Liberty Lake for relocation based on ready freeway access and exposure and the "family-oriented environment," owner Jerry Musselman said. Advertisement
Edwards Smith Construction LLC and Architects West Inc., both of Coeur d'Alene, are working on the project.
