About Us
Founded in 1999, The Liberty Lake Splash is the source of news and information for the greater Liberty Lake, Wash., area. A free newspaper, The Splash is shipped directly to every address in Liberty Lake each Thursday and is posted online every Wednesday with regular content updates throughout the week. Since 2004, The Splash has been owned by Peridot Publishing LLC, the legal entity set up in Liberty Lake to operate The Splash and its related publications, including the annual Community Directory.
Members of The Splash team include:
|
|
Josh Johnson, Editor and Publisher
Also husband, dad, Valley Chamber board member, Honey Nut Cheerios zealot
Member of Splash team since 2004
Former opinion page editor, copy editor, reporter, freelancer and journalism graduate of John Brown University
Josh and his wife, Kim, purchased The Splash in March 2004 from founders Shaun and Nathan Brown, aiding his return from the Midwest to his hometown of Liberty Lake. His family members first moved to the community in the 1950s, and he is passionate about the lake, the people, bicycling on the trails and supporting local businesses. In his free time, he covets game nights with his family, reading (and surfing) news outlets and salivating over destinations for his next Splash Travels photo. |
